Beckman and Jones to Round 3

Travis Beckman and Blake Jones are on to Round 3 of the Billabong World Jr. Championships in North Narabeen, Australia.
Travis, from Vero Beach, started his heat hot and never looked back. He held the lead over Kaito Sekimoto from Japan the entire heat.
Blake, from Melbourne Beach, had a little more trouble against South African Shaun Jobert. Blake had 3 low scoring waves before he put up a couple of waves to overtake and hold off Jobert.
Round 3 should be held tomorrow. A new swell is expected. Contest Director Luke Egan will make the call. The contest starts at about 8 AM Australian time.
