Day one of the 2019 Easter Surf Fest at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach was a fun filled event for the whole family. Traditional Surfing met with exhibitions from Hydro Foils and the Electrified Boards from Jetson Surf Technology. The main competition was delayed until around 11am due to poor conditions but as the tide turned the surf began to come to life. There was always
something going on with Hula-hoop and Limbo competitions keeping the Groms entertained, demos, free samples from Vendors and music being played from main booth. We had plenty of fans stop by the Jetson and SurfGuru tent to pick up free stickers and wristbands.
The day concluded by celebrating the life of Hall of Fame member and 1960s surf legend Gary Propper with stories of remembrance and a Traditional Paddle Out.
