The 5th Annual Locals Only Surfest is an event for the Brevard County community that consists of 250 surfers ranging from Pro, Longboard, Ladies, and Groms as well as 150 other athletes competing in the five day event. Competition participants must be a Brevard County Resident to enter, with the exception of 10 slots for people outside of the area.
Over 3,500 people attend each year to spectate and support local vendors. Our vendor and sponsor support has grown to include over 100 different businesses contributing to the event. Over the years the event has grown to include a Skate contest and 3k Fun Run. This year they are continuing to expand the event with the addition of Battle of the Hoods and a bouldering contest.
The Battle of the Hoods event provides local surfers with the opportunity to gather a team to represent districts of the Space Coast that compete against each other.
