My Puerto Rico Trip, Winter 2012 by Courtney...
Last week, I returned from another amazing trip to my second home, the beautiful Isla de Encanto Puerto Rico!
Puerto Rico is nicknamed "the Hawaii of the Atlantic." This name could not be more fitting. When you visit Puerto Rico, you experience lush tropical forest, expansive golden beaches, crystal clear blue water, vibrant reefs and abundant sea life which could easily fool you into thinking you're in a Pacific Island paradise. And PR sees almost as much wave action as Hawaii. Though you can surf year-round in Puerto Rico, the best season is the winter for the solid swells.
