Sorry So Late in posting Amigos,
I have been so sicky-wicky. But the fever broke last night, so all is well. Unfortunately, the waves were insanely good yesterday and I missed them. You know you are really sick when you are staring at perfect glass and can't even muster the strength to go out. I couldn't even convince myself that a good surf was just what my body needed to clean the sickness out.
Anyway, the Gnarley Charley Grom Series started with its first of ten events on Saturday March 19th. The kids were having a blast and it was fun for all—contestants and spectators alike. The events are the perfect way for the young ones to experience a contest without all the stress and hassle that accompanies so many other contests. The Gnarley Charley events are all about fun and family fun. The next event is Saturday April 2 at the Flagler Avenue beach ramp in New Smyrna Beach with the Kona Pro surf contest going on down at the Inlet.
Hopefully, we'll have some waves this weekend for the contests. I'll try to get some coverage for you all.
