The Dragon Festival is a Renaissance Fair to raise money for Save Dragon Point. The 2 day event is on Jan 25th & 26th 2014 at Wickham Pavilion next BCC.
The Gates to the Village will open at 10am each day.
Shows will begin at 11am and run until 6pm.
Entertainment
Music, shows and story telling on our 3 village stages will be on going though out the day.
Jousting at Noon and 4pm in the village joisting area.
Knights will battle in the Ring though out the day.
Strolling jugglers, costumed actors and entertainers will fill the narrow streets of Melbournshire.
Dragon Movies and shorts playing all day in the pavilion.
About Save The Dragon
Save Dragon Point was born out of a community interest in a local historical monument. Created in 1971, ” Annie ” the river dragon , has captured the hearts of residents and visitors alike . The unique property coupled with a unique 65 ft. long dragon, makes dragon point a one of a kind ! Over the recent years, the dragon has collapsed and fell into serious disrepair ! However , the tide has turned , and the new dragon is on its way home !
