Afroman "Blazes" Through S.B.I

With what began as a beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon soon turned into a torrential down pour. The vibe was kickin @ SBI on the outside deck as BallyHoo ( Maryland)  and 23 Treez ( Melbourne Beach) played on into the afternoon. Beautiful sky, good reggae music, and not a care in the world until the monsoon of '08. The rain seemed to come out of nowhere. With a recipe for disaster written all over it, the good people at SBI decided to move everything to the inside stage, after all, the show must go on. Further ingredients added to the potential recipe included; a delay in arrival of the main act and tons of people, buzzed, wet, and crammed like sardines into the lodge- like confines of Sebastian Beach Inn. Despite the odds, everyone was able to entertain each other with random hoots and hollers until the one and only Afroman appeared. In a lounge singer, powder blue, tuxedo sopping wet, he sparked up a bowl of , which I presumed to be some sort of "tobacco", and the crowd went wild. Who else could pull of such a stunt but the guy whos claim to fame song, gives us an excuse for anything we didn't' get done. If you'r not familiar with the song, I'm referring to "Because I Got High". Thanks to this song we all have a valid excuse for the plethora of things in our life that we put off. With his main squeeze right by his side to DJ and bodyguard, Afromans show in itself was one of the best pulled off stunts I've seen in awhile. Sorry if you missed out , it was awesome!
