SURF MOVIE "THE WOMEN AND THE WAVES"

THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will hold the Florida permier showing of the womens surfing movie "THE WOMEN AND THE WAVES" as part of the the activities for the closing weekend of the FLORIDA WOMEN OF THE WAVES exhibit. The movie will be shown at the Cocoa Beach Public Library, located at 550 N. Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. Doors open 6:30 PM. Popcorn and Beverages will be provided. (Friday, November 12th).

LADIES SURFING SOCIAL II
THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will also host a LADIES SURFING SOCIAL on Saturday November 13th 2010, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the beach behind The International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach as part of the activities for FLORIDA WOMEN OF THE WAVES exhibit closing. Come and enjoy another morning of surfing just for the fun of it. Renew old friendships, make some new ones. All women are welcome.

FLORIDA WOMEN OF THE WAVES EXHIBIT CLOSING with FRIEDA ZAMBA
THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will hold an exhibit closing on Saturday, November 13, from 7 to 10 PM. This will be the final opportunity to view this exhibit which features important Florida female surfers from the 60's up to and including the newest up and comers in the sport. Special guest World Champion Frieda Zamba will be in attendance for this special evening. The event is free and will feature live music, light refreshments and is open to the public.
