I need to get a new set of gear..anyone know a good place?any brands better than the next?

i use cheap us divers mask and snorkle and  get nice fins. 

Stormy's right, unless you're going to go scuba diving every weekend, the cheap stuff works just fine. Keep in mins that US Divers makes several price levels of equipment from reasonable to down right expensive.

Seems like the cheap stuff has gotten a lot better over the years. Used to be that only the expensive masks were silicone, now they all seem to be.

do not get tired looking for expensive stuff. i for one only use simple gear priced reasonably and i must say that they're very helpful for my common needs. karla
