Looking for the best surfing simulator

Hey guys,

I'm looking for something to improve my surfing technique on. Did a lot of research and read a ton of posts and it seems like my choices lie between Yow, Smoothstar, waterborne, and Surfskate (Swelltech). The only one I can get locally is Swelltech but the spring issues and the tendency to jacknife worry me a bit (although probably good for helping me to remember to keep my weight on my backfoot). I can order Yow online and the final price after shipping and import taxes will be about $60 less than the Swelltech. I'd love to try a Smoothstar but I can't wait until November for them to ship. So what would you choose? I've read from most people that the Swelltechs are the best surf trainer but at the same time I've read other reviews that cite the Smoothstar as feeling a bit more like you're on water.

Edit: just added waterborne to the above options. I can order it for pretty cheap (15% of the others). Has anyone used one? How does it compare to the other truck systems?

For context, the waves at my break are surfable between 1ft (lol) - 6ft, and I mix up my boards (fish, funboard, and a hybrid shortboard). I'm looking to improve my bottom turns, cutbacks, speed generation - everything.

I also skate and already have a few boards for cruising so whatever board I buy is solely for surf training.

Thanks in advance!
