melbourne beach surf report

Wednesday: Mostly thigh with lucky waist, we could see a few bigger sets at the stand out spots as the right tide. Waves are coming in at 12 sec from the ENE. Light favorable winds for the am hours turning onshore and picking up a bit for the afternoon.

melbourne beach surf forecast

Thursday:  Size drops off a notch to the knee to lucky thigh range at 10 sec from the ENE.  Winds are onshore but light.

Looking ahead:  We are on the smaller side for Friday with 10 mph onshore winds.  Saturday will be a knee high wind swell with an occasional bigger set from a ENE background bump propping up the surf. For Sunday the wind swell component builds size just a bit as winds turn SE but nothing really good.  This trend continues into the start of next week.
