Hi Everyone!
BEACH AID met all of its goals for raising awareness and fundraising for clean-up and conservation of our Brevard beaches. We were overwhelmed with the great show of community support that rallied for the cause. More than 200 people were involved in planning and holding the event! We thank you for your part.
The volunteers were hardworking and ever so helpful. The bands were all on their game – what a fantastic mix of great music. They provided such a wonderful vibe for the event. The exhibitors were instrumental to raising awareness. The activities were perfect for adding to the fun on the beach. What a great job Ms. Turner and the students from Sunrise Elementary did with the painting of the stage panels. Mr. Fannin’s team at Sand on the Beach worked hard to keep everyone happy. The town of Melbourne Beach, the Melbourne Beach Rotary and Brevard County kept us safe and secure. Many people, like our M.C. and our Web Site designer, Skye at Skye Writing, came to the rescue when our other plans fell through. And so many donated equipment to be used at the event and products to raise funds for the Sea Turtle Conservancy.
