Hi guys,

I have recently started up my own learn to surf blog and have written a post of the best types of beginner boards. Best bet is a good 8' plus foam board.  Ron Jon has soem good ones and if you have a Costco nearby the 8' Wavestroms are actually pretty good.  Josh at Surfer Mag turned me onto these years ago and I keep one around as a beater and really like it.

Great post! I like the fact you've focussed on soft tops. I would say the only baords that are missing from your review are the Catchsurf soft tops.
