CONTEST #5 is CANCELLED !!!!!!!!!
There just isn't enough contestable surf out there for this weekend, and it just seems too "iffy" that some might appear in the next 2 days.
I surfed at Ponce for the most part of the incoming tide today, and although there was a wave here and there, I don't think there were enough for 6 man heats. Most certainly NOT 15 minute heats. So, it's a scrub!!! For those of you that are stoked...your welcome, for those who are chapped....I'm sorry. In the meantime, enjoy the awesome surfing going on in the next rounds of the ASP event in Tahiti, and wish you were there. Round 2 and 3 have been going off! We'll try to "make-up" this contest @ the end of the season if need be.
