Honey Miller began in 2010 as an outlet for the original songs that Dave Miller had and continues to write. It started as a solo acoustic act in 2007, playing small stages around Cocoa Beach. Then Dave began (sometimes accidentally, sometimes with intent) to add musicians and pile up new material and more shows while literally giving away 15,000 Demo CD's of their song "Permanent Wave".
For years Honey Miller performed hundreds of shows throughout Central Florida. Honey Miller was nominated for Brevard Live Magazine's 2011 "Favorite Original Band", and were finalists for Brevard Live/Lou's Blues "2012 Original Music Series". The prior band completed recording and releasing a live thematic recording in 2012.
They opened for Sonny Landreth (2013) and Marcia Ball (2014) at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida thanks to Tib Miller-Flying Saucer Productions. Honey Miller music has been used on multiple documentaries and videos.
