Weekend Outlook for June 21st

Weekend Outlook for June 21st

Surf Forecast:

East Coast: Surf Forecast:

East Coast: Knee to thigh high with lucky bigger sets from the east at 7 sec with light morning south winds building for the end of the day.  This may give us just a touch of extra size for the afternoons/evenings.

Southern East Coast: Onshore winds start to pick up on Saturday bring the local wind swell back into the knee to lucky bigger sets range for later on Saturday and into Sunday.

Gulfsters: Small to flat.

Panhandle: Small to flat.

Weather:

We will be partly cloudy on the East Coast with highs in the 80’s with a chance for isolated storms.  South Florida will see high 80’s with a higher chance of storms especially on Sunday afternoon.  Gulfsters are also in the high 80’s and have a chance for PM Thunder storms on Sunday. The Panhandle will be a little warmer, around 90, with a 24% chance of rain. Be sure to pack lots of water and the sunscreen because we are in the extreme summer UV days.

Beaches:

Expect the normal size crowds for a nice summer weekend so getting in a little early never hurts.  The beaches look clean for the most part with not a lot of seaweed.  Keep an eye on that weather especially on Sunday in case of lightning.  With the smaller surf, beach fishing is looking good.  Just remember to move away from popular swimming areas before casting out.

Have a great weekend!!!
