Weekend Outlook 5/10/25

Weekend Outlook 5/10/25

Surf Forecast:

East Coast: Knee to lucky thigh with lucky bigger sets for Saturday with south winds in the mid teens.  Winds turn to the SE and build a bit for Sunday kicking up some waist high but less organized wind swell.  Northern Florida may see a little bigger condition.

Southern East Coast: SE winds and 5 sec knee to lucky thing wind swell for the weekend.

Gulfsters:  A small start to Saturday but south winds kick up for a little wind swell wave in the afternoon.  South winds continue for Sunday for chunky 5 sec surf that may have some decent size in the better spots that can handle a south swell.

Panhandle:  Winds turn onshore for the weekend and will eb kicking up some decent sized wind swell especially for Sunday.

Weather:

We will be partly cloudy to cloudy and in the low to mid 80’s with a chance for isolated stroms, especially west of I4, that could be strong so keep an eye on your local weather forecast.  Winds will be brisk and from the SE on the East Coast so be sure to remember the tie downs for your tents and some baggies for sand to weigh down your blankets.

Beaches:

Expect the normal size crowds for a nice weekend on Saturday so you may want to plan on getting to the beach early for a good parking spot.  Sunday is Mother’s day, expect packed beaches as families take Mom out for a nice day at the beach.  We have 3 weeks left before summer break before the big crowds show up.

Happy Mother’s day and enjoy your weekend!!!
