Weekend beach and surf outlook for July 19th

Weekend beach and surf outlook for July 19th

Surf Forecast:

East Coast: Knee to lucky thigh high form the east at 8 sec.  Northern FL should see a little more size than the rest of the state. Winds are looking favorable this weekend, especially on Sunday.

Southern East Coast: We are on a downward trend for the weekend and we should be small to flat on Sunday.  Winds stay onshore but ease.

Gulfsters: Staying small with light summer time pattern winds.

Panhandle: Shin to knee high local wind swell form the south at 3 sec.  Light morning onshore winds build a bit for the afternoon.

Weather:

It looks like we have great weather this weekend.  Mostly clear to partly cloudy weather with a low chance for isolated storms.   Temp will be in the high 80s to 90s.

Beaches:

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend and we are starting to get to the tail end of summer break so expect crowded beaches.  Arrive early for a better chance at parking.

Be sure to bring plenty of cold drinks and pack the sun screen because it’s going to be a hot one!  Surf is on the smaller side so we should have green flag conditions on both coast, but as always check the local lifeguards.
The beaches look clean for the most part with just a little seaweed at the high tide lines.   We have gentle breezes most of the weekend which should help with the heat but not enough to blow away properly secures tent and umbrellas.

Have a great weekend!!!
