It’s an active time in the Atlantic with Tropical Storm Josephine and what’s left of Tropical Storm Kyle roaming the waters. There is no chance of land fall from Josephine which is moving into the middle of the Atlantic but we should see some wave action from the storm later this week. There are two small disturbances moving away from Africa at the moment but those have little chance of formation in the near future. We will have a better idea of their development in 3-5 days. Both disturbances have early indications that they will move in a fairly straight line towards Central America but may start to swing north a bit as they reach Cuba. If these waves manage to gain Tropical Storm strength they will be named Laura and Marco.
