Hurricane Isaias latest info 7-31

Most of the latest models are showing Hurricane Isaias doing a flyby of Florida’s East coast coming to within 50-100 miles of the state.  While it is not expected to grow past a Cat 1, East Florida will probably be in for a windy weekend with bands of rain so plan accordingly.   The full strength of the storm will be determined by the shear ahead of it and if it stays in open water or if moves closer to/over land.  East coast surf conditions for Saturday and Sunday will be big but disorganized so better to play it safe and wait for things to calm down.  As the Storm moves away, conditions should clean up for Monday.  Be sure to keep an eye on the cams and the NOAA website for the latest as things can change pretty quickly with these storms.

We have two tropical disturbances following Isaias but neither have a good chance of formation any time soon.
