The Groms were out in force at the Gnarly Charley Surf series event #6 on August 13th 2016 in New Smyrna Beach.
Dozens of Groms of all ages packed the beach for a day of games, surfing, contests and fun. The surf was just right for the younger Groms and big enough that the older kids could get some good scoring waves as well. With events ranging from a water balloon popping contest to a race across the beach there was never a dull moment.
Charley was the life of the party as always and the Groms had a blast learning all about the ins and outs of surfing completions, good sportsman ship seeing old friends and making new ones.
