Florida Atlantic Surf Report/Forecast
Friday: Waist to lucky chest in the better spots from the ENE at 9 sec. N/NW winds are still in the mid teens and it is chilly out so find those protected spots. Defiantly still some decent waves in the water so get on them while you can and stay warm.
Weekend: We go to the thigh to lucky waist zone from the east at 7-9 sec for Saturday. Winds turn north then NE and ease a little, especially north of the Cape. Surf is down a notch on Sunday with mostly gentle onshore breezes.
Looking ahead: The weather warms back up to the 70s but the surf drops off for next week. Looks like we may have some potential for next weekend so stay tuned.
South Florida Surf report and Forecast
Friday: Unfortunately the big surf fun is over. PBC is still seeing waist high surf in the better spots but it’s dropping off as you head south and South Beach is back to knee to thigh with north winds in the mid teens.
Weekend: Winds turn NE in the mid teens kicking up some choppy local wind swell on top of the little leftover north swell for Saturday. Surf is on a downward trend for Sunday with continued onshore winds in the low teens.
Looking ahead: We are looking pretty small for next week. I’m keeping an eye on some potential surf for next weekend so stay tuned.
