Florida Surf Report/Forecast for Jan 22nd 2025

Florida Surf Report/Forecast for Jan 22nd 2025

Florida Atlantic Surf Report/Forecast

Wednesday:  Chunky, cold surf with strong Northern winds. You may get lucky at protected spots like Jetty Park at the Cape, but size will be smaller than the forecast with the north swell component blocked out.

Thursday:  Waist high at 7 sec fro the N/NE.  North winds ease a bit especially south of the Cape for the AM hours.  Then they pick back up to the 20s for the afternoon for Central/Southern regions.  Northern Florida should see north winds in the low teens but overall it is still not the best quality with pretty cold weather for our little corner of paradise.

Looking ahead:   We are down a notch in surf size as winds turn a little more NW for Friday making for a little cleaner but smaller leftover conditions.  North Florida will again have the lightest winds under 10 mph while central and southern Florida will be in the teens.  We are on a downward trend through the weekend and back to small conditions for the start of next week.

Looking ahead:  We are down a notch in surf size as NW winds build a little more for Friday.  We are on a downward trend through the weekend and back to small conditions for the start of next week.
