Florida Surf Report/Forecast and Tropical Outlook for May 24th 2024
Atlantic Surf Report and Forecast
Friday: Friday: Small to flat in most spots with lucky knee high sets. very light onshore winds pick up a touch for the afternoon.
Weekend: Staying small to flat for the weekend.
Looking ahead: Surf is staying small into the start of next week. We may get a little bump later in the week but not much. Bring your big boards if you are paddling out.
South Florida Surf report and Forecast
Friday: Small to flat with a knee high wave in PBC if you are lucky.
Weekend: Surf stays small to flat.
Looking ahead: Staying small into the start of next week. We may get a little bump later in the week for PBC but not much.
Gulf Coast Surf report and Forecast
Friday:
Gulfsters: Flat.
Panhandle: Flat.
Weekend:
Gulfsters: Flat.
Panhandle: Small to flat.
Looking ahead:
Gulfsters: Flat for next week.
Panhandle: Small to flat for the rest of the week.
Tropics and Hurricane Forecast
Not too much currently, but the warm waters and favorable conditions suggest an active season ahead. I anticipate the emergence of named storms possibly around mid June.
