Tropics and Hurricane Forecast
I’m keeping an eye on a few disturbances out there. The first is in the far West gulf and has a 0% chance of development at the moment and it looks like it’s going to head west and fizzle out. The next is a tropical wave heading down into the Caribbean which is also at a 0% chance of formation at the moment. Lastly we have a wave coming off of Africa which has a 10% chance of development in the next 48 hours and 40% over the next 7 days. The GFS and Euro models are not expecting this to do much though.
