Atlantic Surf Report and Forecast
Friday: Knee high at 5 sec with a little 8 sec background bump from the East. Light onshore winds are adding a bit of texture and building for the afternoon.
Weekend: Carry over conditions for Saturday. Sunday is looking about the same with a touch bigger size for the afternoon as the winds turn SE and pick up a bit adding a little more wind swell to the mix.
Looking ahead: We are looking at knee to lucky thigh for Monday with continued SE winds as the last of the little 8 sec background swell fades. Shorter period wind swell for the mid week.
South Florida Surf report and Forecast
Friday: Small, disorganized wind swell conditions with brisk onshore winds.
Weekend: Small, disorganized wind swell conditions with brisk onshore winds continue for the weekend.
Looking ahead: Staying small with onshore winds for the start of next week.
Gulf Coast Surf report and Forecast
Friday:
Gulfsters: Flat
Panhandle: Shin to knee high wind swell with SE winds in the low teens.
Weekend:
Gulfsters: Flat
Panhandle: Wind swell and winds drop off for Saturday and surf goes small for Sunday.
Looking ahead:
Gulfsters: Staying small to flat.
Panhandle: Staying small for the start of the work week.
Tropics and Hurricane Forecast
There are a few small disturbances in the Atlantic, but none appear likely to develop into anything significant soon. High pressure is maintaining the waves paths through the Caribbean keeping them well south of us.
