Florida Surf Report/Forecast and Tropical Outlook for August 28th 2024

Atlantic Surf Report and Forecast
 
Wednesday:  Knee to thigh high at 8 sec from the East.  Light onshore winds are adding a bit of texture and building for the afternoon.

Thursday:  Dropping off to the mostly knee high range at 8 sec with onshore winds.

Looking ahead:  Staying knee high with lucky bigger sets into the weekend.  Winds remain around 10mph from the East through Saturday then turn ESE for Sunday and the start of next week.

South Florida Surf report and Forecast
Wednesday:  Shin high wind swell conditions with brisk onshore winds.
 
Thursday:  Shin high wind swell conditions with brisk onshore winds continues.
 
Looking ahead:  Staying small with onshore winds for the rest of the week.
