Tropics and Hurricane Forecast
Have a great one! - Bryan
We have a Tropical wave passing through the lower Atlantic. Currently, there’s significant disagreement between the Euro and GFS models about the storm’s trajectory and strength. The GFS is predicting minimal strengthening with the possibility of rain for Florida. The Euro model predicts the storm will pass close to our East coast, with winds reaching the high 30s on the storm’s East side, while the West side facing Florida will experience milder winds in the teens. This system will likely just bring rain. The Hurricane Center gives it a 50% chance of formation in the next 7 days, with heavy Saharan dust and dry air hindering its development. Stay tuned for the latest.
