Atlantic Surf Report and Forecast
Friday: Knee to lucky thigh at 8 sec from the East. Winds will be gentle from the SSE/ESE and picking up for the afternoon.
Weekend: Dropping off to the mostly knee high zone to flat in deeper spots for the weekend. We have gentle southern winds for Saturday turn onshore for Sunday.
Looking ahead: With high pressure settled in the Atlantic, wave generation is currently limited. We might see a slight increase on Monday, but conditions will taper off to smaller waves throughout the work week. I’m monitoring a wave of energy coming off Africa that has a low chance of development, but it could bring a few waves next weekend. Stay tuned!

Tropics and Hurricane Forecast
All clear though the work week. We may see a little effect of a tropical wave next weekend but it’s unlikely to fully develop into anything noteworthy.
The Area of High pressure camping in the Atlantic looks like it may start to head North for the start of August clearing the way for low pressure in the Atlantic for early-mid August so be ready.
Have a great one! - Bryan
