Florida Atlantic Surf Report

Wednesday: Waist high with lucky bigger sets from the ENE at 12 sec. North winds in the teens are adding some chop and the morning high tide is not helping. Slightly tamer winds, a little warmer air and the afternoon low tide may be the way to go today.
Thursday: Dropping off a notch in size as the ENE swell starts to fade. Winds remain from the north but are a little lighter.
Looking ahead: We are on a downward trend into the weekend with no a lot of surf on tap. We have a little warmer than average weather for the weekend but not much for surf. It should make for a nice beach weekend though.

Thursday: Dropping off a notch in size as the ENE swell starts to fade and the winds back off.
Looking ahead: We are on a downward trend into the weekend with no a lot of surf on tap. We have a little warmer than average weather for the weekend but not much for surf. It should make for a nice beach weekend though.
Gulf Coast Surf report and Forecast
Wednesday:
Gulfsters: Small with NE winds around 10-12 mph.
Panhandle: Flat with gentle offshore winds.
Thursday:
Gulfsters: Staying small to flat.
Panhandle: Staying flat.
Looking ahead:
Gulfsters: Flat for Friday but Winds shift south and build a bit for Saturday which could kick up a little south wind swell. Winds clock around to the west, then NW and build a bit for Sunday adding a little more size. It’s probably not going to be anything major but some thigh high sets at 6-7 sec or so. We could see a few cleaner leftovers on Monday as winds shift north and then off shore but get on them while you can.
Panhandle: We have a small start for Friday and then winds turn SE for the afternoon and build possibly setting up some small short period choppy wind swell late in the day. Onshore winds and building swell continues for Saturday morning but we could see a break in the winds as the next cold front passes over later in the day giving us a window of cleaner surf. Winds turn W/NW for Sunday giving us a chance for some smaller morning leftovers that will fade as the day goes on.
