Kapn Bone Food Review The Bamboo Fish Company

Hey it’s your good old Kapn’ Bone here with this week’s weeks local insider food review. Well Buddha and I did not have to travel far this week to find our next review, just up the road at 205 Ocean Ave. lie’s The Bamboo Fish Company. This new endeavor By Zack and Barbra Morris is a great concept for a good , healthy and well priced lunch. Formally Billie’s they have revamped this prime location and offer a wide variety of local seafood items to temp your palette. Zack and Jess are behind the counter and they make your lunch to order.

The first taste today was an awesome Seafood Gumbo, a combination of Fish, Shrimp, Andouille Sausage and a assorted vegetables in a  light creamy broth. I have always said that you judge a restaurant by it’s soup and they passed with flying colors! After checking out the menu I decided to try the Mahi Mahi Fish Taco and Buddha ordered the Grouper. Everything about it was fresh. They pile on top of a soft tortilla, romaine lettuce not the cheaper  iceberg, followed by a combination of chesses and a nice fresh piece of Mahi topped with their secret Bamboo sauce. This is how a fish taco should be served, it was delicious. Buddha ate his Grouper Taco so fast I was glad to see him stop at his fingers!
Check out the menu, they have Fish Taco’s, Burrito’s, Sandwiches and Salad’s.
