I am a gradate student studying Marine Science Policy and Law and I am conducting a survey for my thesis, to determine public awareness and appreciation of the Gulf of Mexico. My thesis is in association with the Deep- C Consortium at Florida State University, a long-term, interdisciplinary study of deep sea to coast connectivity in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. We are investigating the environmental consequences of petroleum hydrocarbon release in the deep Gulf on living marine resources and ecosystem health. Your response to this survey will help us to decide how best to use our resources
I really enjoy surfing and I would love to see if other surfers love the gulf as much as I do and try and understand what people really know about the gulf.
