We have recently secured an International recording artist as our headliner. The 2 headlining bands represent what is best of Cape Canaveral , the space program and the beautiful beaches. First the #1 Attraction in the Caribbean, Grand Cayman Island’s Own Superstars Hi Tide, Quintessential Island Style Music, our 2nd national headliner ROCKET RANCHwill feature the amazing piccolo bass work of LA session musician Paul Ill, Paul was raised on the Space Coast, Paul has recorded with such greats as Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilar and others, he has 27 Platinum albums and numerous other recordings to his credit.

CAPEVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAM WILL BENEFIT FROM THE SPACE COAST MUSIC FESTIVAL
e.A.R.T.h. Awareness, Jack Link & Associates and The City of Cape Canaveral are preparing for September 29th when the City of Cape Canaveral will be hosting the Space Coast Music Festival, a benefit for E.A.R.T.H. Awareness’s music in the schools program.
The Space Coast Music Festival is celebrating the kick off of the 50 th Anniversary of The City Of Cape Canaveral and will be held at Manatee Sanctuary Park , at 701 Thurm Boulevard in Cape Canaveral.
Admission is $5 to enjoy 10 hours of non stop music.
This year’s recipient is Cape View Elementary School . Aside from the unprecented big stage talent and the beautiful waterfront setting, the event will feature a renowned and diverse array of critically acclaimed art, craft and food vendors. It will also feature an Eco Awareness Village celebrating National Public Lands Day.

Space Coast favorite original band The Bone Dogs, the rocking tunes of Fun Pipe, John Quinlivan Heartbreaker featuring vocalist Shelly Maloney, the trippy jam styling’s of New Gravity, Entertainer of the Year in 2011 – The Spanks Band, hard rocking Starring Blind, the folk and country stylings of Steve Hodak, Jon Parrot, Rich Deems and Eddie “ Willie Nelson “ Clevenger are already scheduled to perform.
There will be a classic car show cruise in by High Performance Hot Rod promotions and many children’s activities, kayaking, a drum circle and more.
Non-Stop Music, all weekend long, is the goal of this years festivities. The festivities will kick off with a VIP Cocktail Party at Rusty’s Seafood in the Cove at Port Canaveral on Friday, September 28th from 7 PM to 10 PM featuring jazz sensation Ocean Breeze.
The music festival will be held on Saturday from Noon to 10 PM. There will also be a music memorabilia silent auction, raffles, and more fun awaiting our music fans. Make sure to buy your chance to win an Autographed guitar.
From 9 PM to 1 AM an after festival jam will feature the performers from the event mixing it up with Space Coast sensation Luna Pearl at Baja Taverns and Eats in Port Canaveral.
The list of supporting organizations involved for the event is growing, Our Site Host, The City of Cape Canaveral, Jack Link & Associates, The Space Coast Tourist Development Council, High Performance Hot Rod Promotions, Clear Channel Brevard, WFIT 89.5 Radio, The Beach Shack, Space Coast Live, Brevard Live, City Wide Arts, Slow & Low BBQ, Volk Law Offices, and Wynfield’s are just a few who are already on board.
We feel all children need the hope of music. The Music Community is coming together to ensure all children have creative outlets and learn wonderful musical traditions. There will be kid's activities. A make your own instrument workshop will be held from Noon to 4 PM. Kids will be able to make their own egg shakers, brightly decorate them and take them home for lasting musical moments.
e.A.R.T.h. Awareness is Entertainers Against Ruining Their Home. The center of earth is ART. A group of entertainment industry professionals, dedicated to the preservation of creative outlets and natural experiences for the youth of Central Florida . e.A.R.T.h. Awareness was created to promote quality family time in a natural setting, with programs in music, art, drama, planet-protecting education, and fun.
The show will be held rain or shine. No Coolers or Outside Food or Drinks, Please No Pets or Bad Vibes. Come enjoy a fun filled weekend of great Music, Silent Auction, Kids Activities & Fun! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and spend a musical day to help buy instruments for the kids at Cape View Elementary School .

Hi Tide: Bio
Hi Tide, an acoustic duo from the Cayman Islands , is well known for their live performances as well as their recordings of classic covers and catchy contemporary original pop songs. As described by the editor of a popular weekly music magazine, “Hi Tide provides a nice mix of pop with a dash of Cayman which commercial radio enjoy and support”.
Cousins Shane Allenger and Sean Hennings started Hi Tide in 1993 and although the band has gone through many changes and featured other musicians, the two mainstays have always been Shane and Sean.
Along with their newly released "Hi Tide 4" (a collection of 15 new originals), Hi Tide has nine other albums, three with original songs, two with classic covers "unplugged", three Christmas collections and a live album "Live at Deckers" . Songs from all of these albums are well represented on radio in the Cayman Islands, with three original songs -- “That’s What I’d Do”, “In Your Kiss”’ and “Open Invitation” -- making the international charts. Their cover of Bob Marley’s “Waiting In Vain” has also been released in Italy on a compilation CD.
One of their most popular original songs, “Love You More”, has been licensed in England to be played in thousands of stores throughout Europe .
Hi Tide has shared the stage with many great performers including Bon Jovi, Jimmy Cliff, Third World , Jeff Healey, Garbage, George Duke, Al Jarreau, Natalie Cole, Emmylou Harris and Randy Travis.
As well as putting on regular shows in the Cayman Islands, they have performed all over the world including mainland USA, Hawaii, Canada, Europe, South America and, of course, the Caribbean. Their appearances have included private events, one-off shows, mini-tours and many music festivals.
Hi Tide never stops working and despite their many performances, Shane and Sean are still finding time for the studio. They are presently working on two projects, Classic songs done in a reggae style, and another original album.
