Shak Shack Grille Downtown Cocoa Beach Food Review

Kapn Bone Food Review

Hey Mon, it’s your good old Kapn’ Bone here at Shak Shack Grill up in world famous Cocoa Beach!
For this weeks insider food review. After a great photo session with the lovely Guru girls and the always effervescent Jamison, Buddha decided while we were there why not do a food review? Well they don’t call me one take Jake for nothing, so I was in!

Shak Shack Grill is a hard place to pass by with all of the Caribbean colors and surfboards out front. Run by Daz a transplant from Tortola and cousin to the infamous Bomba, I knew we were in for a treat. Going with the house special Skillet Mushrooms we were invited into the kitchen to see how this dish was prepared. Daz started with fresh garlic a sizzling in the pan, next came a heaping portion of white mushrooms. After the mixture heated up in went the wine, island butter and a variety of spices . We went out to take our seat and low and behold Skillet Mushrooms appeared! Be careful for the first bite it’s as hot as a meteor! With a fajita style flair these little babies were delicious.

What would a visit to a Caribbean restaurant be with out a taste of Conch Fritters? Daz whipped up a nice portion of the light and fluffy island staple. The dipping sauce was Buddha’s favorite with a sweet beginning and a spicy kick finish. Finishing up with some juicy Jerk Chicken Wings our taste buds were singing.
Shak Shack Grill is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 am till??? With live music every day. We can’t wait to come back and try some of the other dishes like the Voodoo Ribs or the Island Curry Chicken.

We want to thank Daz, Pamela and the exotic Teneshia for a lovely evening.
So when your up in Cocoa Beach stop in at Shak Shack Grill have a Shak Shack Punch and don’t forget to tell them Kapn’ Bone sent you!
