Sandbar Pizza Grill Melbourne Beach Wing Review

Kapn Bone Food Review

Hey Land lubbers it's your good old Kapn' Bone here to give you another food review.

This weeks lucky establishment was the SandBar and Pizza Grill on Ocean Avenue in sunny Melbourne Beach.
Buddha and I hooked up at the SandBar, he was late as usual but he pays the bills! The SandBar and Pizza Grill is our choice during Football season, they have several large T.V.'s and the beverages just keep on coming. We were there to check out the wing's . Every Bar and Restaurant has there own twist on wings and this is the first of many wing reviews that Surfguru will be doing.

We started with the Monday night special A picture of Yingling beer and with that comes FREE Supreme nachos,  We were on those bad boys like a flock of seagulls and had to do it again! The two choices of wings that we tried were The Joey wings and the Hot wings. The Joey wings are grilled first of all and grilled is better for the heart! The wings were of good size and delicious taste, not to hot but when we were done the was a little sweat on our brows. On a 1 to 5 scale I have to give the Joey's a 4.

Next it was on to the hot wings. "What's hot to some is not hot to others" words from Buddha. The wing size was the same as the Joey's but they were not grilled the were fried, I'm happy that we had the Joey's first. They were med. hot but typical fried and a little greasy taste. I have to give the hot wings a 2.5.

Now don't get me wrong about the SandBar wings is were they begin but they are no one trick pony. The menu has every kind of Pizza that you would care for, my favorite is the BBQ Chicken Pizza a real treat they also have the freshest Fish Taco's around you can also get a great sub there to.

And for the little groms there is a kid's menu. The SandBar and Pizza Grill is a good old fashioned family restaurant right in Melbourne Beach why would you want to go any where else? That's all I have for you this week Kapn' Bone Out!
