Doubles Hoagies Wing Review

Double up on Double's Wings! Can't go wrong!!!

Doubles  Beachside
Avaste, It's your good old Kapn' Bone here with this weeks food review, so listen up.
This week we had the pleasure of visiting Doubles Beachside just a little north of Eau Gallie Blvd. on South Patrick Drive.Remembering my early pool route days Doubles was a weekly stop, in the mid eighties at lunch time the place was always slammed, shoulder to shoulder. They moved just across the street and didn't lose a beat.

The new Doubles is a big multi room restaurant with a  two different bars to chose from. Lindsay gave Buddha a little tour of the place and Brian, Warrick and I grabbed a couple of brews and a big booth in the back.Buddha saw the convention room and was pretty stoked. We decided it was time to get down to business and ordered some Wings!

We made three choices The first was a Teriyaki Garlic. The wings were cooked perfectly nice and crispy, fall off the bone tender. The flavoring combining the garlic and Teriyaki was spot on.We give these wings a 4. The next  was a suggestion from Lindsay  "Sticky Chickie Wings"  Had to have them. Again cooked like Momma was watching, crunchy with a BBQ glaze that sticks to your fingers. Another fan favorite. We give the SCW a 4. Last on the list is the good old Hot Wing. Did I say how well they were cooked? These were the traditional Wing sauce, warm finish. We give the Hot Wings a 3. The service truly A rated the food, our compliments to Ray.

Unfortunately  it's not often when you are able to go out and find a place where everyone is smiling these days! Doubles has a wonderful menu with something for everyone. Several arcade games with table bowling and pool tables, if your kid is board here take away his cell phone. We would like to again thank Lindsey, Kelly and Ray for a great evening. Look forward to coming back.

See you next week Kapn' Bone out.
