Smoke Prime Rib anyone? It’s your good old Kapn’ Bone here with another killer fine food review. The wonderful Linzi invited Buddha and I to sample some of the other fine things on her menu here at Charlie and Jakes. Even though they are the best BBQ in town Linzi never stops trying to improve an already great menu.
We were lured by the call of the famous smoked prime rib at C & J’s a Wednesday night special. We were served a mouth watering juicy cut of beef that’s been carefully smoked out back for twenty four hours, I think the secret is in the smoke. To go along with our meal was a huge fresh salad and about fourteen different side dishes to chose from. The subtle taste of smoke was just right and the au juice was perfect.
It did not end there, the next thing I knew we were surrounded by several plates of great food, there was some Hot crispy chicken wings, fried pickles and to Buddha’s liking a mammoth char broiled burger with all the trimmings. One of the few times he could not speak!
It’s always a pleasure to come to Charlie and Jakes we are always treated like family and were else can you call ahead and have a great meal waiting for you? The drive thru window the great service awesome food why would you go any where else. So when you are just plain hungry there is only one place to go, Charlie and Jakes on Eau Gallie Blvd. right here in Indian Harbor Beach and don’t forget to tell them Kapn’ Bone sent you!
