Sax On The Beach A Tribute To Kenny Cohen

SAX ON THE BEACH, A Tribute to Space Coast Iconic Musician Kenny Cohen was held at The Cocoa Beach Country Club on Saturday, November 20th from 12 PM to 10 PM. The event was a HUGE SUCCESS, the day was filled with 10 hours of unbelievable music, the stage oozed with the best talent
the Space Coast has to offer. We had many wonderful musicians who stepped forward to play. Absolute Blue, Austin Pettit & MoGeetz, Blox Electric, The Bone Dogs, Danny Morris Band, Dave Kury, Delgado, Honey Miller, Hot Flash, Jon Parrot, KC Connection with Josh Miller, Overload, Reverend Billy C Wirtz, Sybil Gage and a wonderful Puzzler Reunion, boy did that take you back to your youth on Mel beach. There was even a surprise appearance by

Joe Davis, one of the Drifters and Three Dog Night drummer Pat Bautz also stopped by. Jack Link & Associates and their Stage Crew rocked the show, Joel & Sean from the The Sunseed Coop were cooking up a storm, Many Musicians and  Artist played their hearts out, Surfguru.com was in the house catching some video, Judy Lane has amazing photos on facebook and many wonderful volunteers put on one amazing show. $3800 + was raised and given to Kenny to help him through this tuff time. Kenny was humbled at the out
pouring of love and support for him. And as always go out see the bands, tell the musicians how much you love what they do. Help Keep Live Music

E. A. R. T. H. Awareness of Brevard, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of creative outlets and natural experiences for the youth of Florida. To assist Music, art & drama programs in our schools and to educate children about preservation of the arts & Mother Nature. The goal of our fund raising efforts is to produce an annual family festival with an emphasis on the needs of our elementary school music programs and to fund our direct-to-teacher classroom supply program for the arts in the Central Florida Schools.
