Milliken's Reef at the Port of Canaveral on the 3rd of July was packed! Mrs. Buddha and I decided to check out Milliken's Reef for some cold cocktails and some snacks! A few cold ones and some Wang Bang Shrimp we were ready to party!

This appe-teaser was so good an crunchy and spicy too! Here is a lil local tip! For an extra treat you can upgrade to the jumbo shrimp...Well worth the couple extra $$$...

Waiting for the fireworks to start later in the evening, we strolled over to the bandstand and BonePony was setting up for their 1st set of the afternoon. Now Milliken's Reef has a very diverse music scene! They bring in different bands from around the SE and this band BonePony happens to be from Nashville TN. I really like their energy and the balance between rock and new country, which gave them a really good sound and makes you want to get up and dance and sing!!!

Next the fireworks came on around 9:30pm and for almost a 1/2 hr the sky was lit up with giant streamers giving the whole Port of Canaveral this golden glow and the sounds of the happy crowd in the backround! For a good time Milliken's Reef is the place where great food and fun come together...

Hours of Operation
11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with the restaurant closing at 10 p.m, weekend 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
