Why don't the friggin' cams work????
Hey, now that's a loaded question.
Sometimes the cams take a couple seconds to display especially on mobile devices that have a ewak signal or older computers and phones. If you think the waves are good, just remember that there's a few hundred other people that think the same thing and want to look at the cams too.
Try this first
90% of the time if the cams are not working all you need to do is clear your cache and restart your browser or device. Check out this article on how to clear your browsers cache. https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic
All you need to clear is your cache and cookies. You do not need to delete things like saved passwords or your history. The reason for this is sometimes a browser will hold on to old cam data and settings. Old files will not work properly with the new data being sent by the cams and the player gets confused. Deleteing old files allows your browser to get the latest data.
Try a different Browser
Desktop - If the cams are not working try the page in a different browser. We support Edge, Safari, and Chrome with our HTML5 Player and Firefox and Internet Explorer with Flash, but some other browsers like Opera will work.
If you are a Chromoto fan you may need the Chrome plug-in User-agent Switcher and set it to Firefox on Windows. Get it here.
FireFox has a new Flash Protect Mode that may block our streams. If the Streams are not loading in FireFox try disabling Flash Protect Mode and see if the video streams work.
- Click on the menu button , followed by Add-ons.
- Click on the Plugins panel and select Options next to Shockwave Flash.
- Remove the check mark next to Enable Adobe Flash protected mode.
- Click the menu button and then click Exit to close Firefox completely, so that the change can take effect.
We do not recommend runnign FireFox with protect mode off. If that is the issue please try one of the Browsers that use our HTML5 Player.
Mobile - We support most mobile browsers except the current Firefox. Firefox mobile does not support our stream player or a lot of other live stream protocols for that matter.
Why are the controls so slow?
The live stream takes a few seconds to get across the internet to the servers and to your device. When you chose a cam position the camera moves right away but the video of the new location takes a few seconds to actually make it to you.
If all else fails, contat us and we will do our best to get the cams working for you!

Update Your Software
You might need a to update your computer with the following software updates. All the links below are to reputable companies and websites.
||Adobe Flash Player
Check Your Anti-Virus Software
Check your computer's Anti-Virus software to make sure that it is not blocking the cams from loading. You may have to add SurfGuru.com to your list of trusted websites. If you have an ad-blocker program running on your computer, be sure that it is set to allow ads from SurfGuru.com.
For Norton Anti-Virus or Norton Internet Security you must turn off the "Ad Blocker". If you don't make these changes, you won't see the cams!!
Running Windows Vista?
Some users have had problems using Windows Vista since it does not come loaded with Java by Sun Systems and uses it's own version. You can fight it and maybe figure it out or you can download Mozilla's Firefox and it will work like a charm.
