NIGHT SOUNDS AT SEBASTIAN INLET STATE PARK CONCERT SERIES
--Musical group Lee Hunter and Joey Kerr under the moon and the stars—
SEBASTIAN INLET – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Sebastian Inlet State Park will host the Night Sounds at Sebastian Inlet State Park Concert Series on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Hosted by the Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park, the concert will showcase Lee Hunter and Joey Kerr. Lee Hunter is a singer, an award winning songwriter, rhythm guitarist, percussionist and pianist with a passion for folklore. From 1992-2014, she worked with guitarist Arvid Smith as the critically acclaimed duo, Tammerlin. Together they placed their own stamp on folk/roots music. Known for clever original songs and traditional tunes pulled from the roots of American music. Lee Hunter is now pursuing her own musical path. Still passionate for the stories this music conveys, Hunter’s focus continues to be on performing and writing songs in the Americana genre.
Lee has teamed up with Joey Kerr, an exceptional guitarist and mandolin player and a fine singer and songwriter in his own right. Joey brings impressive musicianship and an extensive knowledge of American music to the duo's sound. Kerr was the winner of the 2013 Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival Songwriting Contest.
The concert will be at the pavilions on Coconut Point, located on the south side of Sebastian Inlet, over looking the water. The Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park will host the Night Sounds at Sebastian Inlet State Park Concert Series. The concert is free with regular park entry fees.
