Fanatical surfers braved the early morning cold to compete in the Volcom Seacow surf contest held at the Sebastian Inlet State Park on Sunday, December 6. The event was delayed for a day, and even though conditions were still not optimal, that didn’t stop the more than 100 contestants from ripping it up. I am not working at the Van’s Triple Crown presented by Monster Energy this year. I did stop by Sunset Beach today to watch some heats and visit with old friends, both staff and competitors. It was a good and bad experience.
