Hurley Surfing America PRIME Sebastian Inlet Contest
A SURF FEST 2010 Event
Story by Skyelarken
March 6 kicked off day one of the first-of-its-kind Surf Fest at Sebastian Inlet State Park with the Hurley Surfing America PRIME surf contest. This is the second Surfing America PRIME East Coast contest and the first time one has been held in Florida.
With computerized scoring being consistently announced, surfers in the water were given real-time results, allowing them to know their exact standings and scores needed to earn a top position and advance. Though it was cold and windy, there were still plenty of decent waves for the contest.
