6th Annual Space Coast Surfers for Autism Festival

Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach Florida

With each passing year the number of children with autism increases, and so does the number of therapies used to try to reach into their baffling world. Surfing has become one of the fastest growing therapies and it's healing properties are obvious to those who witness it.

This past Saturday, the 6th Annual Space Coast Surfers for Autism Festival was held at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach and had one of the biggest turnouts yet. Crowds flocked to the beach and the amount of stoke that could be felt in the water that day left a lasting impression on not only the participants, but the parents, volunteers, and even onlookers alike. The waves couldn't have been more perfect that day as everyone soaked up the good ions that the ocean water provides.
