LMFAO is an American electro pop/hip-hop duo consisting of Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy) and SkyBlu (Skyler Austen Gordy.) RedFoo and SkyBlu both grew up in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades where they formed the group LMFAO in 2006. The group's name is a well known Internet slang abbreviation but according to the duo themselves LMFAO stands for "Loving My Friends and Others.”

Their second album, 2011’s Sorry for Party Rocking, has released four tracks that have topped the charts including “Champagne Showers,” “I’m Sexy and I Know It” and “Party Rock Anthem” which popularized them worldwide with the video whose music and choreography (including the Melbourne Shuffle) has gone viral on Youtube with over 443 million hits to date.  Nominated for over 16 awards since 2010, LMFAO has won nine including five from the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.  Three nominations are still pending for MTV’s 2012 Video Music Awards in Japan and the US for “Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock” including Best New Artist, Best Choreography and Best Music for the remake of “21 Jump Street” released March of this year.
