best beginner spot in Cocoa Beach?
My family and I are coming over to Cocoa Beach this weekend and I was wondering if someone could tell me where the best beginner spots are for surfing?  I am an adult female, but have just recently started learning to surf and well, I spend more time falling off than riding at this point =).  My husband, who surfs just fine, is teaching me.  We live over on the Gulf Coast.  I definitely don't want to get in anyone's way, but really want to get out there.  Any spot advice would be appreciated - I already know to stay away from the Pier as it looks pretty crowded on the webcam today.
Thanks!
Christi

Thanks.  Others also suggested Cherie Park and Lori Wilson Park.  Are they about the same?

Cherry Down or  Jetty Park.  The water stays very shallow pretty far out.  Since it's a gentle slope the waves are very predictable and easy to catch for a beginner.  They can also be fun with bigger surf once you learn a bit.

Thanks to everyone for the tips.  We ended up at Cherie Down Park and it was perfect, at least on Saturday.  It was messy this morning, but I managed to have a couple good rides.  Thanks again!
