Established by local Peruvian surfers, Machapu Adventures was created in response to the resurgent interest of the global surfing community in rediscovering some of the world’s best waves, such as the World’s Longest Left: Chicama. Machapu Adventures is geared towards welcoming traveling surfers, but also ensuring that Peru’s coastline is conserved and remains unspoiled by the irresponsible development that has occurred in other once-idyllic surfing destinations. Our mission is clearly to offer the best surfing experience in one of the world’s richest wave-gardens, while helping to develop sustainable solutions for the socio-economic and environmental challenges faced by the coastal communities of Peru.
