DETAILS: Standup Paddleboarding is one of
the fastest growing water sports in the country. The sport has participants raving
about
the exercise and stress
relief benefits that enable them to go for a casual cruise in oceans, rivers,
and lakes.
The boards range from
ten to twelve feet long and are much thicker and more stable than traditional
longboard surfboards.
Paddleboarders use a
long canoe type paddle to propel and steer themselves in the water while
standing in a relaxed and
comfortable stance.
