I'm gonna make this short and sweet.
Headed offshore on Thursday out of the inlet. Seas were 2-3' and choppy, but not too bad. Took an hour to go 15 miles to Bethel. Loaded up on bait pretty quick and hit a spot 3 miles from the bouy.
Started off slow on the anchor and finally started catching some feesh. Kevin pulls up a black grouper and I got a big trigger. Then the mangos showed up. We started pulling them in on every drop. Tombones was catching them like a mad man.
Filled the cooler up with 12 big mangos and a big triggerfish. No sharks to speak of. No kingfish on the flat lines. Awesome day on the water with some good friends. I'l try to get some pictures up but the camera is being a fool.
Peace
