Hello,
I was at the library the other day when a book about Florida surf spots caught my eye and after reading it clams that Peanut Island will break a few times a year. Peanut Island if you don't know is a man made island with a bomb shelter built for the Kennedys that sits inside the intercoastal at the Palm Beach inlet. Its absolutly beautiful snokeling! The inlet itself lays claim to Reef Road on the South side, Pumphouse at the north, and a diamond shaped sand bar where I hear will hold some of the largest waves on the east coast. I sometimes see guys out there practicing towin each other in to smaller waves getting ready. But waves breaking on Peanut island I have to see! Anybody out there have Pictures, Videos, or stories? I've looked all over the internet and nothing.....
